For our Lily and for all the little heroes

700 students, 100 teachers and staff members of Forum Private School joined hands, sending a strong message of love and support to all the little heroes who are battling cancer, leukaemia and other rare diseases every day. This event was held on the occasion of the 15th of February, which has been designated as the World Childhood Cancer Day, as well as to honour the memory of the school’s student Lili Kyriakou, who passed away on 13 February 2021 from the rare disease HLH. The students of the 2nd and 3rd grade with their teachers formed and raised the golden ribbon, which is the symbol of awareness for childhood cancer, stating how precious children are and how much power they have inside them. The rest of the students formed a white frame around them, sending a resounding message of hope and love, honouring the bravery and courage of the little fighters of life.
