They sent the message that no child should fight cancer alone

Messages of love and hope for the children in the Pediatric Oncology Department of Makareio Hospital or abroad for treatment, were sent for the 7th consecutive year by the Founder of Little Heroes Loukas Fourlas together with the reserve frogmen and a large number of people.

The event “Swimming together with the Navy for our Little Heroes”, started from the Olympion Beach and ended at the dock of the old port of Limassol.With us again this year were the Cyprus Police, the National Guard, as well as CYjetski. This is an effort to support the children and their families who are fighting their own battle, with all of us as allies.

The start for the swim was given by the Chief of Police Stelios Papatheodorou and the start for the “March of Love” was given by the Speaker of the Parliament Anita Demetriou. Hundreds of people participated in the march and ended up at the dock of the old harbour and welcomed the swimmers.

A Police helicopter overflew the area and a diver was dropped, while the Force Philharmonic played throughout the event.
