On Monday 26 February, the Board of Directors of the Group Rotary Club of Famagusta presented a cheque for 6000EYP to the President of our Foundation, Christiana Markou.

“The amount came from the sales of the photographs from the photography exhibition organised by the Group last June.

The exhibition, as it is called “Mana… You left the window open for 49 years”, was intended to preserve the strong substance of the city in the memory of each of us and the promise that we will return.

This contribution will be a memorial to one of the photographers of the exhibition, George Pantazis, who unfortunately passed away early but left his own legacy in the artistic events of his beloved Famagusta”.
